Copy from Aug 1- Come As You Are- by Jess Hall

Come as you are…

Not as a desire…who you want to be.

Not as a dream…who you hope to be.

Come as you are…

Tear tracks and Cheeto stains

Anger flushed and hair mussed

Incomplete thoughts and insecure heart

Come as you are…

Whether you were knocked down, fell down, or simply sat down hoping to disappear,

Stand. Back. Up. And. Come.

Come to The One who created you purposefully

And who loves you perfectly.

The Lifter of your head.

The Light in your heart.

The One who will masterfully make all things work together

For His glory and your good.

Come to Him…

Just as you are.

But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. (Psalm 3:3, ESV)

I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made... (Psalm 139:14, NIV)

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:10, NLT)
