Being Loved- by Jess Hall

"...My unfailing love for you will not be shaken..." (Isaiah 54:10, NIV)

It is hard to feel like we are being loved...

When things go wrong.

When people hurt us.

When we loose someone close.

When our plans fall apart.

It is hard to feel like we are being loved when the world wants to serve us with problems instead of perfection. With persecution instead of protection.

Being loved seems impossible, unreachable, and unattainable when we are criticized, unfriended, and cast aside at every turn.

But loved is who we are. Despite our circumstances. Despite the world's judgement. And we see it when we switch our perception from Earth's rejection to Heaven's reception.

Our Heavenly Father's arms are open wide to receive us into His loving embrace.

We are loved.

Love that is constant and unconditional. Love that was created before we were formed in the womb. Love that will be unfailing, even if we slip and fall or troubles arise.

God knows while we are here on Earth, there will be trouble (John 16:33). He never promised us a perfect life, but He did promise a perfect peace for all who trust in Him (Isaiah 26:3).

Whatever troubles arise, He will be with us to get us through.

"When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up – the flames will not consume you." (Isaiah 43:2, TLB)

No matter how we feel, no matter what may happen, NOTHING will be able to change who we are... Loved by God.

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39, NKJV)
